cute cards

We had a flash back Friday yesterday. A few hours to kick around our old hometown, Oak Park, with just the boy. Such a fun afternoon (thanks Katie!) and we spent a lot of time playing what we miss/what we don't miss about living there. I'll tell you what I realized I miss a ton about living in Oak Park, being able to find a decent greeting card! I went nuts on a card display at the Magic Tree bookshop. And these were mostly just birthday cards. Good thing I didn't make it down the block to any of the other shops. I've decided though, I'm going to become one of those people who has a stash of great cards. They make me so happy!

So many gorgeous ones you have there! I’m fond of Jillian Phillips as well, and Danish Maileg always have a card I like.
I know exactly what you mean.
Whenever I see a wonderful card, I can easily find an occasion to use it for, and then I have to bring it home.
And oh my, what a joy it is when I can pull one of them out of the pile, and write some kind words on it. (That is if I have the heart to give it away). 😉

Oh my goodness, I just saw this post! I have been a huge Wee Wonderfuls fan for years, and was so delighted to be featured! What an honour 🙂
