when you used to have to tear out magazine pages

Phoebe and I have been watching back seasons of Project Runway. It’s been a very interesting experience. In general we don’t watch much (any?) reality tv. Oh, we watched Master Chef Jr! And Oscar and Phoebe both loved it, which was mildly irritating because they’re still such picky eaters. quilted handbag puzzle

I made a quilted handbag for my mom for her birthday. I saw this bag on Pinterest and thought she’d like it so I went down to the Quilt Merchant and found some wool and flannels and autumnal prints and gave it a shot. new outfit for Zoe

Today Phoebe made some new green shoes, floral skirt and ballerina headband for her doll. She cut out the felt shoes and hand sewed them together. She pushed the gas on the sewing machine while we sewed the skirt and threaded the elastic through the waistband with a safety pin. And she measured out the ribbon for the headband.
