Blizzard 2011!!!

Okay! One of these overhyped weather events finally paid off. The blizzzzzard of 201111111 did it's job and dumped a mountain of snow all over us. The kids are in heaven! And I'd have really enjoyed our cozy shut-in snow day yesterday if it wasn't for the 5 hours of shoveling we did yesterday. Today we have another snow day to contemplate nature but of course it's -10000000 degrees so no playing in the snow.

photo project

I'm working on covering the hall wall with snapshots. I think it's going to be super fun when it's done. I'm having all sorts of old photos printed up at snapfish. Love getting packets of photos in the mail. I'll have to share some of them soon.

kitchen gnomes dish towels embroidery patterns

This is the embroidery homework I was talking about after Christmas. My pattern distributor, Brewer Sewing Supply asked me to come up with an embroidery design that they could offer as patterns and kits.
