Clara, from the Nutcracker

I am so happy to offer this new series of ballerina dolls in my shop. My daughter is a dancer and this is her first year dancing in the Nutcracker. We have become obsessed with all of the wonderful characters and gorgeous costumes. It is so fun to research and find all the variations on costumes from production to production, all while the characters are still instantly recognizable. This version of Clara has golden blond curls with blue ribbons in her hair at and her waist. She is wearing a fine white cotton gown with lots of gorgeous details, ruffles and pintucks. Underneath her gown she is wearing a nude leotard and white tulle skirt. Her ballet shoes are made from a pearl white knit fabric and the laces are tied in back and can be relaced. Clara is 16" tall, with firmly stuffed linen body and button joints on arms and legs. Her facial features are embroidered. She comes with her own Nutcracker, a wooden peg puppet, hand painted and adorned with vintage gold trim, wool felt hat and faux fur.

This doll is an art doll. She is delicate and is not intended for young children or heavy play. This doll is not for children under 3. There are handsewn parts that could come unattached and become hazardous. Spot clean as needed.
