today was a crazy long day of sewing

I’m really trying to squeeze in a few new dolls before I get down to business with Christmas making. I’m not even sure what I’m going to make. If anything. But I need to get these out of my head before I can focus.

Maxine. I took some cute photos of her with Phoebe. She’s heading to etsy tomorrow. Maxine, not Phoebe 🙂

Becca. Trying to decide on her hat, if any. I made her an insanely huge head of hair.

Tilly. She’s got a cute coat but maybe no hat. I need something I don’t have and don’t want to be a delay fish.

  1. Great rug.
    snicker* delay fish

  2. all are adorable!

  3. I’ve never ironed a rug, I have had success hanging it and then use the high steam setting on my iron to basically steam it out. The trick is to not touch the iron to the actual rug.
It works best on rugs that don’t have a plastic back.
Also, wonderful rag dolls, I love the hat with the ears.

  4. ooh, love the bow with Stellas hair. Im seeing a beret on Tilly, but i dont see her whole outfit, so maybe that doesnt work with it. and I am pretty sure Maxine is from Brooklyn and owns a flower shop, or maybe a yarn shop, or a coffee shop. She is not hipster Brooklyn, but a native, like her great great grandparents immigrated there.
Hope Im not reading too much into your dolls.

  5. I wanted to buy Stella but it was too late; the doll was already sold out… same happened with Miss Mod Mint Chip and Mademoiselle Giselle 🙁

  6. Cute dolls, but I need to know where you got that rug? I love it. I’m having trouble finding just the right rug and I really like yours.

  7. sorry! there will be more after the new year. you can follow me on facebook or instagram for more up-to-date etsy info. or you can follow my etsy shop directly too. thanks!
