Doll clothes DIY: making an AG doll sized sweater from a baby sweater

3 month size baby clothes look like they'd fit an 18" AG type doll. They're so tiny! But not quite tiny enough. I found this awesome gray glittery sweater in the baby section at the thrift store and thought it'd be so cute for Phoebe's dolls. Thrifting tip: going through racks and racks of baby clothes can be exhausting. To get through it super quick I just pretend like I'm shopping for outfits for 8 yo Phoebe. Seems obvious enough but if you do that your eye goes right to the cute, more sophisticated prints, the less baby colors, all the things that make cute doll clothes.

I have a terrible overhead glare from my desk light in these photos and I didn't do anything to make this a glossy blogworthy tutorial but here they are anyway :)
