that’s right

Take that, bin of unfinished dolls! Not only did I take a stuffed body and unstuffed arms that have been sitting for over a year in the fabric closet and make you into a doll but I also FINALLY used the vintage velveteen embroidered tiny baby overalls that I've been holding onto for at least 10 years and made it into a cute doll dress. I even used the ruffled shoulder straps! Yes, I am very pleased with myself. Chip chip chipping away. I used some pretty brick red yarn for the hair that I don't even remember buying. I finally cut into the fat quarter of cutie mice on teal – Japanese? I don't even remember how long I've had that.

She needs a friend now I think. A name, and then a friend.

I love her! And GOOD ON YOU for getting her done 🙂 Further more, I vote YES! on Aimee’s name suggestion…she totally looks like a little Willow 🙂 Lovely job!

    Love this dolly!
I have recently left my jobs at the yarn and fabric stores, and now intend to devote much time to sewing and knitting through my stashes, accumulated from both locales over the past 12 years. You’re inspiring me to make up some dolls!

Oh, she’s lovely! With those sleeves, surely Cherry – or even Cherry Blossom!
Haven’t commented here before, but I love your work and find it immensely encouraging and inspiring.
