this time in May, 2009

I was making this little shirt for Phoebe from Nani Iro fabric. It's tucked away in the attic now. I never sew for her anymore. I should. She's pickier now. And very in love with her sequins and sparkles. I should just be sewing for myslef.

I remember it well! 🙂 I’m so lucky my 9 year old still wants me to sew for her. I know my days are numbered!

Aww – what a cute top! I loved sewing for my girls when they were little.
BUT 🙁 I never sew for them anymore – they are big. And picky – –

    It look beautiful!
I used to knit a lot for my boys. Now it’s only the 2 year old who will wear home knits. Although my oldest, just the other day, put on one of my knitted cardigans, just off the needles, when he got cold after a water fight with his brothers. “It’s cosy – can you make me one”, he said right out of the blue. Maybe there is hope…
