wee bunny

Some tiny bunnies are popping up around the house. I started them over a month ago and just now am embroidering faces on them. I used the wee bunny freebie pattern and I shrunk the PDF down to make them smaller.

Thanks for the vacation advice! We did end up taking a minibreak and it was very fun. My big joke is that we got so bored we decided to risk the kids' lives and went to City Museum in St Louis. Wow that place is something. I'm gonna pretend I'm the cool parent and say how it was amazing and a super awesome blastfest. I won't tell you about the part where I about had a panic attack/nervous breakdown bc the kids climbed into a wall and didn't reappear for 30 minutes.

  1. That place is insane. When we went our eldest was only 2, so we didn’t have to worry about her being too adventuresome, but I could see the heart attacks waiting to happen all around!
    Super fun, though.

  2. Love that you went to the City Museum. It’s one of my favorite places in St. Louis. And also terrifying, especially if you have kids. But definitely has to be seen to be believed. 🙂

  3. I recognized the spot just by the photo. So glad you had fun! It’s definitely a place to lose your children. I’m from St. Louis, and the City Museum was built when I was a teenager, so I spent many of my high school weekends there with friends. I remember one afternoon spent hidden in a cubby in the floor untying shoelaces. Ah, the memories… 🙂

  4. I’m definitely not a cool parent. That places scares the &%$# out of me (had actual, very bad experience there – even though it wasn’t my kids that were hurt.)
Have you guys been to the zoo in St. Louis? Very awesome.

  5. City Museum freaks me out too. I would go if there were only about 10 people there, but when it’s mayhem forget it.
More importantly, are you in Missouri? (I’m in Columbia, so it makes me very excited to think that one of my favorite bloggers might actually live nearby!)

  6. Wow! If my four kiddos went missing ‘up in the roof’, I’m not sure if I’d panic or contemplate purchasing a cup of tea 😉

  7. Thank you! We are St. Louis locals and my 4 year old has not experienced the City Museum yet. Momma’ s not ready. It is a cool place, but it is a tetanus booster waiting to happen.

  8. Ha! I love the city museum but never stop questioning, “How many people are seriously injured here per day?” I stood and watched children run and fling themselves off a metal bar onto a metal slide for 20 minutes during one visit and was terrified the whole time. But even my 3 year old has a fabulous time there!! It really is so much fun. Good thing it’s expensive so we only go once in a while. 🙂

  9. i like to say of the city museum “only in st. louis does someone take a bunch of industrial waste and let kids play on it and call it= a museum!” still- it’s totally awesome 🙂

  10. Industrial waste…. Yes – but how cool would this have been if we’d had a place like that when we were kids? The City Museum is a fantastic place!
