I'm trying to get my act together for Oscar's halloween party. I volunteered to bring a craft and I thought it would be fun for the older kids (4th grade) to make potion bottles to take home. So I bought bottles and stoppers at Science and Surplus...
Then I hit up the dollar store for plastic halloweeny bee bobs, skeletons, spiders, etc. I have garbage bag & guaze I'm cutting into strips and glitter plus food coloring and water...
I still haven't printed out the cool potion labels they'll modge podge on and I'd like to wrap the tops with twine but I'm concerned... it's not looking good at all. Just stuff floating to the top and you can't see anything. I'm stumped. What am I missing? I need something cool! And I need it fast and easy. And cheap! Any ideas out there?
But oh my, if it isn't a brand new world. A new laptop world! I can use my email. I can open my website in my browser without flashing warnings.. not supported! turn back! this isn't working!
Can't decide what to do first! Maybe twitterblogpin some things. I'm off to look for Halloween party craft supplies. Perhaps I'll even blog them. Like the good old days!
Here are my latest Halloween pins. I'm really trying to keep my enthusiasm up for this holiday. I have no problems with witchy/spooky but I find I am really turning into an old lady when it comes to gory/terrifying. Flaps of rotting flesh do not equal good old fun to me. I need to stop watching Walking Dead.
ugh, is this how embedded pins look now? I hate it. So much for sharing my pinterest here.
