summer scrapbook

I was shopping at this cute site for scrapbooking supplies as a gift for Oscar's teacher and decided I needed some of the cuteness for myself. I bought a few things for Phoebe and I to make a Summer scrapbook. She was into it for about 5 minutes. Probably because I wouldn't let her stick all the stickers on one page. Now I'm working on it while they're at camp. I have no idea what I'm doing but it's fun. Mostly I just pick a nice background, glue a photo on it, stick a sticker on there and move on to the next. I'm sure I'm using all the wrong glue/supplies, etc. Like all of my crafty endeavors, I like to jump right in without reading anything about it. And shopping. I enjoy that too. I might have just spent an hour in the scrapbooking aisle at Michaels.

Our almost-3 year old *loves* stickers, but he does just stick them all down on one page. It keeps him busy for a long time though, so I just make sure to buy cheap stickers!

I wonder if it would be worth it to give a young kid a smaller piece of paper to cover with stickers, so they will at least have to change papers once or twice if they want to use them all up without overlapping.
