fabric journaling cards

Well I might not have a lot of supplies yet for my Project Life journal, but there is one thing I have a heck of a lot of…fabric. I used some super stiff fusible interfacing I had to make these prints into cards for my album. I'm not sure how well things will stick to them. Guess I'll use my fabric glue. Or I could sew through the stickers to keep them in place. Is that why people sew objects down on their scrapbooking projects? To keep them in place or is it just decorative?

I use stitching to keep pieces in place on my journaling. Look on Pinterst for lots of free downloadable journaling cards.

You can tell I’ve become completely obsessed with something when I post on a blog I’ve read for YEARS (I never comment, I’m a silent reader) twice in one week.
I’ve begun to hoard up these supplies. Would love it if you could share some of the collections/designers you’re loving. Our craft store is terrible and I can’t drive to Pittsburgh all the time so I buy online. It’s hard to find good stuff. You have to know what you’re looking for.
Oh, and I stitched a pocket mainly for function but it looks cool too.

I think it’s decorative, however, it would work great on your cards…which I love. You could just sew some little journal boxes on them as well, so as not to cover all the happy goodness of those prints.

I agree with Beth. I usually am a silent reader on most blogs I read. Thanks to your last post I starting looking at more Project Life stuff online, then promptly went out to buy supplies. I’ve done about 10 pages in 2 days! So yes…I’m down the rabbit hole with you now. (Michael’s has “Project Pages” which is basically the same thing. All of that stuff right now is on sale! That’s where I got mine.) It’s been quite a while since I’ve been *this* excited about a craft. Thank you so much for mentioning it!
