This year I finally got smart. Instead of messing with waxed paper or crayon rubbings, this year we're getting serious and waxing our Fall leaves. I bought a block of paraffin wax at the hobby store and keep it in an old saucepan on the stove. Every day we find new great specimens and we come home and dip them in melted wax and lay them on paper towels to dry. We now have 2 huge leaf garlands and the kids have their favorites taped up to the windows in their rooms. I can't get a really great photo (please ignore the dirty windows), one that fully shows how awesome these look. Such fun! Fall, you're swell.
