Had sprouts today for the first time in 8+ years. I forgot they're not treacherous anymore. You get these things stuck in your head when you're pregnant.

I'm trying to decide whether or not to spend $50 on Needlepoint Silk. Will it make my cross stitch experience delightful? I think it might.

I am loving your posts so much lately! a
Sprouts were killing folks a few years ago, so I get the nervousness about sprout treachery.
As for the Needlepoint Silk: Needlepoint Silk would NEVER try to kill you, particularly not when you’re pregnant. So I think that answers your question about whether or not to buy it.

Hate to say it, but they kind of are treacherous even when you’re not pregnant. My mom is a produce safety inspector and sprouts are the only thing she will never eat. She’s got me off them, too.

Go for the needlepoint silk! I’m using it for the same cross-stitch pattern you’re working on (assuming it’s still the same) and silk is just lovely:)

Did I miss the big news somewhere??
You’ve reminded me how much I used to love sprouts. I used to make sandwiches with sprouts and sprinkle them with SPIKE (a great sandwich herb combination- try it if you haven’t – it’s delish!)
