the return of the Big Footed Bunny!

look at those big feet!

Guess who is back in the shop after a long (2 year?!) hiatus… Big Footed Bunny! We didn't have more printed but Tim converted her into handy dandy PDF. The pattern is for a 10" floppy eared, big footed woolen/felt/flannel bunny who can be dressed in either criss-cross jumper or jaunty short pants. I love this size, very huggable and kids LOVE it but I thought it'd be fun to try out a smaller version too.

I printed the PDF at 50% and cut it out of wool felt and sewed it together by hand. Turned out so wee and cute! Perfect for a little basket.

regular and half sized.

Since we're overrun with bunnies I thought I'd do a little giveaway with this one. If you need more bunny in your life (and live in the US) leave a comment and I'll spin the random-number-generator tomorrow.

congratulations Kenda!

I forgot how much I love this bunny. It's one of my favorite flickr groups to look through. So many cuties in there! And man, have I made a lot of these bunnies myself over the years. Even makes a cute kitty!

I’ve always admired your wee creatures and this bunny is beyond adorable. I’ve been suffering through hyperemesis and since tomorrow is my 30th (gasp) birthday it sure would cheer me up to win her. I’d get in many cuddles my of own before handing her down to my daughter who will of course welcome the bunny into her stuffies family. Where giggles and imaginative play time will ensue :)

Any time I am sewing something non-Wee Wonderfuls related my kids get mad. I’ve given away so many things as gifts, but now I have some partially finished sleepover pals and a partially finished Margot lying around that are supposed to be for them.

I think my E would love to add one to her menagere of babies and critters to her crib. She has them lined up down the sides so when she awakens in the morning she can play with them, until she decides to scream, “MOMMMMIIIIIEEE,” or attempt to climb out.
