I bought these Joan Walsh Anglund pocket dolls on ebay a while back. Aren't they so cute! I've wanted to try the stretchy sock round headed dolls for a while. Oh wait, Pixie is sort of like this. But these dolls have some sort of styrofoam ball inside the head that makes it firm. They're are a few doll patterns like this in Japanese craft books. They have little drawings of ball + stuffing >> fabric = doll. That's about the extent of the explanation. I think I have a styrofoam ball around here somewhere....
