I've got just a little more brain dump about Book Club and then I'm on to bunnies. Yesterday I posted the last design and now I'm gearing up for the quilt. For this series of Stitchettes, since I knew I wanted to make a quilt with them all, I wanted a cohesive color palette. Here's the ring of color I went with for all these embroideries. It made the stitching go so much faster with the limited colors to chose from. I added more browns/tans/neutrals but these were the main colors.
I picked fabric colors to match my floss. Not sure if these are final but this is where I'm jumping off from.
And this is my quilt sketch. I hope it works out cute. I'm worried about all the seams making those books. They'll disappear under the quilting, right? We'll see. Wish me luck!
