Okay, now for the nutcracker's how-to. First, just like Clara's how-to this is not a polished & tested sewing pattern, but rather just a how-to of something I made on the fly. Second, Tim is cringing because I'm posting this like this but it's the only way it'll get done in time... hand written instructions, hand drawn diagrams and very shorthand!! Click here to download the PDF. Just let me know if you have questions.

Nutcracker in a nutshell is the Elsa Elf pattern printed really small, made up in felt and hand stitched together using a whipstitch and also a lot of gluing. The arms and legs were too skinny to be stuffed so they're rolled felt. If you want you can slide pipe cleaners in there to make them poseable.
And the tiny Elsa Elf is same deal, use the pattern but shrink and hand sew. Same rolled arms and legs and the shoes are different, just two pieces of elf shoe shaped felt sewn together instead of the 3 piece shoes for the full size doll. And floss instead of yarn for hair. Again, if you tackle this and get stuck please feel free to email me any questions.
