I wish every day had an extra hour

One of these down. Maybe 5 or 7(?!) more to go…

And I finished one of the felt ornaments. Phoebe decided this one is hers. Now I’m working on the ice skate.

  1. They are both adorable! Good luck getting that ornament back from Phoebe!

  2. Such beautiful needlework!

  3. Oh, is that a new Stitchette in the making? I bought Alicia’s ornament kit two years ago, maybe this is the year I’ll break down and cut into it.

  4. That stitchette looks so cute! Might need to order a set soon!

  5. What a darling ornament!

  6. Love them both! Oh if only EVERY day came with an extra hour!

  7. which set is the little girl reading the book in?

  9. I wish I got that much accomplished with my extra hour!

  10. I hope you’re planning to sell a pattern of that Stitchette, because little girl + kitten + book = my daughter!

  11. Oh me too! I could sure use an extra hour (or two) to my day as well. I’m standing at the kitchen counter (visiting your blog) while I’m waiting for water to boil–so I can finish cooking dinner. Multi-tasking at it’s finest!
Love the book girl–your stitchery always looks so neat. What stitch do you like, and how many strands of floss do you use?
Second picture; for a sec I thought Phoebe was holding up a real cup of cocoa and then did a double-take. Cute picture.
Water is starting to boil now…gotta run. It was nice visiting!

  12. I’m lovin’ the tea cup! Phoebe likes it too!

  13. Sweet stitchette! Looking forward to seeing the set!

  14. once the pillow crazies are over, i’m moving on to those ornaments too.
also, love that stitchette. 8 is a nice round number – it’d work with the 16 i already have…

  15. And all I did was plug in a rare video for the kids and go back to sleep until the real time to go to church

  16. I love the hot chocolate ornament! I bought the set that has the red coat, scarf and bear. You’re inspiring me to get started on mine. Happy stitching!

  17. Those hot chocolate decorations are fabulous! Your needle work is so beautiful, too. By the way, I got your book and I cherish it already. Thank you for sharing your talent and secrets with us.

  18. Both so cute. I always want more time in a day, too.

  19. Oh, i love Phoebe’s jumper dress! I’m addicted to them for Anabelle at the moment! 🙂

  20. Hi Vicki
I’m a split stitch gal with backstitch on tinier details. 3 strands.

  21. Hi Hillary: Your “girl reading” stitchette is too cute. The detail is perfect. Can’t wait till the pattern is available. You’re getting me in the mood for Christmas crafts or maybe a quilt.
