  1. thanks! that makes me smile, too. 🙂

  2. I bought your book online at amazon and it arrived today. It is a beautiful book. I am a very inexperienced sewer but I’m hoping I’ll do just fine!

  3. Yep, it makes me happy to see pretty colors all lined up for a new project.

  4. Oh, I love all the potential in that 🙂

  5. I love the start of a new project! I can’t wait to see the finished product.

  6. You always pick the best colors.

  7. AAhh, that pattern is so cute. Seeing embroidery floss all lined up together always makes me happy!

  8. Happy to see you embroidering again!

  9. Beautiful colors! I purchased your book yesterday. It’s gorgeous! I can’t wait to get started!

  10. Beautiful colors, almost got a little inspiration, I also 🙂

  11. While we’re on the topic of embroidery, any tips for transferring Stitchettes onto dark fabrics? All the “white” pencils I’ve tried aren’t fine enough and usually break and crumble. Plus, I’m a terrible free-hand drawer and really need to trace.

  12. HI! I am new to your blog and love your online shop! I already have your book and cannot wait to make…EVERYTHING! Please PLease consider having Archie and Olive pattern printed as well, just like your new girl dolls were!
    Thanks for the great ideas!

  13. what a good idea for keeping all the floss together! Looks like it will be a cute project when done!

  14. I’ve tried those, but find it difficult to trace onto dark fabric. I like to use the heat transfer pencil but it only seems to come in purple. I’m probably being way too much of a perfectionist about the whole process.
