Thanks so much for your sweet comments about the video and the book! There is a free pattern from the book up on the Martha Stewart crafts site today if you want to check it out, the Mermaiden.
While we were working on the video I was pretty sure it was going to turn out awful. I just thought, let's rush through it and if it's a disaster at least we can say we tried. But when
it's done and all put together and you've forgotten about the millions of little adjustments and trying to get things to balance just right, well, you just remember the fun. I'm dying to do another one. Maybe once school starts and I get a little break from the kids' grabby fingers.
Speaking of which, guess what I just bought today? School supplies! Craziness. Summer is over in a snap. We have a few weeks left and we're going to stretch that out as much as we can with nothing but pool and beach action but I thought what the heck, I'd do a little Fall preview today.
This little duck you've seen before. He's a hand sewing project and I thought we'd make him up as the next Hand Sewing For Fun Patterncard. If there's room in tiny print on the three-fold card I'd like to squeeze in instructions for this bushel pincushion I came up with to pal with him.
And about patterns: we are working the rest of this month on reprinting patterns to be available for wholesale. We are going to print up the PDF patterns, including embroidery and cross stitch, and will be offering everything in an online wholesale shop where quilt and craft shops can shop directly. If you might be interested in this please sign up on our Wholesale Mailing List here and we'll let you know when everything goes live.
Okay, now off to the pool! We leave Tim home to slave over these tasks
