So this is very exciting to say -- I can actually point you to that bear pattern from the other day and also 23 other patterns that I've had to keep under wraps for months. He's in here! The book! It doesn't come out until August 1st but you can preorder here if you're the planning ahead type.
This here below is the blad (the only piece of industry-speak I managed to pick up and I overuse it with abandon) and you can flip through and get an idea of what's what. I guess I don't want to talk too much about the book now, three months before it comes out, but I did get a copy of it in the mail this week and I'm just so excited about how it turned out. Jen Gotch did the photography and it's gorgeous, clever, so cute, just perfect. And since it's a STC Craft book, it's really lovely. They make the heck out of a book. It's so pretty -- hardcover with a great yellow cloth spine -- I spend a lot of time hugging it.
If you have any questions, let me know. Here are a few things, it has patterns good for boys and girls, babies and older kids, and it's more than just dolls -- stuffed animals, doll quilt, spoon puppets, soft jewelry and a handbag -- lots of good stuff! The full size patterns are printed right in the book so all you need is tracing paper (or plain old copy paper) and you're ready to go!
