Pinwheel no 9 has been quite challenging so far. I'm trying to follow the directions ("after all four units are pieced, sew them together") but finding that's not quite enough info for me. And no cheat codes to be found. I pieced it together the way that seemed the most logical and then ended up with 5" x 5.5" instead of squares. Chopping off the extra on each side seemed to do the trick though and they're lining up. It matches up with the original. Now I just need to find a sub for that white based print that isn't working and then try to remember how I "logically" pieced this together last week. And then make a bunch more and I'll be in business!
Other awesomely pieced things - Phoebe and I were eating cake last night and looking at the tea catalog and both oohing and aahing over this pojagi dress. Love that! Phoebe was also very smitten with this striped number. That one is sooo Phoebe to me. I might need to talk to the Easter Bunny about that.
