I think I want to make a headband or some sort of hair accessory or necklace like this one from JCrew for Phoebe.
I think I really like it and then I can't decide. I don't like overly frothy little girls stuff but I do love it in small doses. I think something like this would be so cute paired with jeans and a t-shirt. It's sort of a moot point because she'll never leave it on her head for more than 2 minutes put together. Maybe. It's a good excuse to window shop millinery flowers over on etsy.
My favorites so far are at this shop, Mary Not Martha. Then I decided it was a sign. Phoebe looks like a cross between my mom, Martha, and Tim's mom, Mary, so one of Phoebe's many nicknames is MaryMartha. The shopping fairies are telling me I'm on the right track.
And more fluff for the foofer. I mentioned the other day I was heading to the basement for the fancy fabrics. Well I brought up a arm full of sheer printed vintage stuff that I thought would make good dress up dresses. This is what I've got so far. I finally got out the elastic thread I'd bought to make the Heather Ross smocked sundresses and I made this dress. Not sure what I've got here. I was going to add some gold sparkly trims and then thought maybe it's a peasant girl dress sort of thing. Maybe a before the fairy godmother Cinderella?
