Make-a-long Bundle

(I know, three posts in one day. Then you probably won't hear from me for a week. I'm having a back to work Monday surge of energy!)

This weekend while actually off from work for a bit, I got a chance to think about what I'd like to do when I'm done with my book deadline this Fall and after kicking around a ton of ideas I've landed on it… Make-a-long #2! I had such fun with Olive and Archie and their adventures. The idea of creating another couple of troublemakers is really appealing to me right now. And I was thinking maybe more than just sewing projects this time, definitely some embroidery, maybe some knitting/crocheting again but also maybe some paper crafts or collage or painting. It's a fun project to day dream about in my free moments and I'm already making lists and stacking fabric piles.

I thought to get ready for the next story first I'd wrap up the last by bundling together all the Olive and Archie patterns, which of course is something we've been meaning to do forever. Sorry we didn't get to it sooner! So now in the shop is Olive and Archie the complete make-a-long patterns for $15 which includes all seven PDF patterns— Olive and Archie, Two Backpacks, Felted Sweater Outerwear &
Professor Paws, Snowsuit, Knitted Jumper, Knitted Kerchief and Knitted
Sweater Vest, Sleeping Bag, Overalls and Jumper.

I think it sounds like a great idea! I am going to have to access my paypal account to purchase the patterns for Olive and Archie me thinks! I have always found them cute!

I made two Olive dollies for my cousins’ little girls not this past Christmas but the one before! They loved them so much!
Now that I’ve got my own little guy, I think I’ll have to bust out my pattern and make him an Archie 😉

I loved the Make-Alongs. I was sad when the story came to an end. I made Olive and Archie for my little girl Lily – she loved them. I kept catching her oldest sister re-dressing them. I’ll be waiting with bated breath!

How would you rate the pattern bundle on difficulty? I am an ok sewer…can handle girls’ dresses and such, but want to make sure I’d not be in over my head with Archie & Olive.
