strawberry dress

Hey, thanks for all the encouraging and enthusiastic comments on my spilled beans. I’m more excited than ever that I made the decision to go for it. Things are really chugging along well and it’s well, fun. Which is amazing, considering how terrified I was to take on this challenge. Keeping everything in perspective makes it easier and having busy kids under foot seems to do the trick. Like right now we’re cleaning up from the visit from the stomach flu fairy which is disgusting beyond belief but somehow cleared my head from the stress and indecision about designs I was having earlier this week. Also switching gears always helps. I went a little Alexander Henry crazy over at Sew Mama Sew and I have Spring dresses for Phoebe on the brain. I just finished up a book project today that was driving me nuts so maybe I’ll reward myself with a little dress sewing tomorrow. Or, I may be barfing. Can’t wait to find out!

  3. I’m sorry about the evil~tummy fairy…
try fresh ginger… grate or finely
chop it, a piece the size of your thumb
maybe more if you like it depends on the
age of the ginger and the amount of
    water.
Put it in a pot of water, boil for 5
minutes. After 5 minute check it should
be spicy and fragrant, add honey to
taste. Drink. It eases the tummy.
And gets rid of that queesie feeling.
It naturally kills bacteria and viruses.
Hope it helps …. it even helps the
    house smell better!

  12. I had a question about the Riley Circus fabric as well. I’ve been eyeing it for quite awhile, and totally LOVE it, but haven’t the first clue on what i would use it for. I definitely wouldn’t want to cut it up too much, so you can still see the entire print, but i’m not quite sure where it would work the best. Any suggestions?
