wallpaper

It’s sunny today. Hotdog! So much easier to stay positive when the sun’s shining in. Yesterday’s mail brought me this vintage wallpaper I’d ordered ages ago and forgotten about. I was going to use it for a background for photo shoots but after seeing it in person I love it so much I might need to wallpaper our small bathroom in it. Wonder if there’s enough. Or maybe a wall in Phoebe’s room when we transition to big girl room. I just love it’s sunny brightness, so good.

  8. That is fantastic! I love the idea of it in your daughter’s room. What about on just one wall, then the other walls one of the cheerful colors from the paper? That would be so lovely. 🙂

  9. That would be cool as a background in frames too. Paint the room a color from the paper and then use the paper as a matting in all your pics.

  10. I love the wallpaper. There was an article in Home Companion magazine last year of Mary Engelbreit’s new home and one photo in particular of a small bathroom that she wallpapered in something similar. What she did was wainscoat around the bottom half of the walls and use the wallpaper on the top half – finished with a crisp white molding around the ceiling. It was awesome and a great way to stretch the wallpaper.
