Lolli-Pop

I’m thinking about Sugarplum Fairy Christmas cards this year. That’d be cute right? This gal is floating around in the craft room waiting for her partner Gum-Drop to be done at the salon.

  1. That Sugar Plum Fairy is so cute! They would be great cards. Hmm…as far as baby quilts, I think this one from Bunny Hill designs is very sweet.

  3. Wow is she the cutest doll ever!!
I’m so loving your hair on these dolls lately. I tried yarn hair a couple times and royally suck at it! Did you teach yourself? If so did you spend a ton of time playing around with it or are you just naturally good at that, too? 🙂

  4. I don’t have any ideas, but I have been coveting the third fabric from the top in your pile. I fondle it each time I go to work at the fabric store…
Also, I love love love the sugarplum fairy!

  5. your dollys are so sweet! I don’t know how well this would fit with your fabrics, but I do think these are so cute!

  7. That’s a very sweet fairy indeed. Since you asked, I saw this baby quilt and thought it was very inspired. The quilting is a Sweedish lullaby.

  15. OK I feel silly sending you a link to MY blog but as I made a quilt out of some of my fabric that you have in that pile (in flannel), I think it’s ok. Don’t think me too much of a solicitor. 🙂 Have fun!

  16. I just uploaded photos of a new pattern I’m working on. http://www.flickr.com/photos/14718747@N04/ It’s a larger version of the doll quilt I sent for Phoebe last summer. It’ll be ready to be tested in a week or so.

  17. those fabrics look wonderful together, hillary. what about a crazy-esque quilt, like the one in denyse schmidt’s book?

  18. i happen to love, love, love this thrifted number i picked up earlier this year…it’s a simple pattern of squares, but i think the fabric ruffle is really great http://www.flickr.com/photos/92174679@N00/2200479370/in/set-72057594085247853/

  19. I absolutely love your dolls. Wish I could make ones that were as cute.

  24. I just made a baby quilt for my baby boy. I’m new to the whole quilting thing, but this was one of those rare times when what I made actually looked like what was in my head, so I think I’m totally hooked.
