Happy day after Father's Day everyone! Hope yours was swell. Ours started with a crazyass thunderstorm at 7am followed by our power being out for 5 hours or so. Luckily it kicked back on in time for us to go through with our f.d. plans which were to make our Tucson guy his favorite mexican dish, carne seca. Tim said I should blog our cooking exploits but I didn't think our 7 hour long pursuit of the seasoned, simmered, shredded, dried out, pureed, rehydrated meat fiesta that is carne seca would go over as well as a colander of pretty strawberries.
How about some buttons instead...
One of my least favorite parts of blogging is how the photos need to match the words. I'm actually over the whole 'book report' thing I've got going here. Tim and I are kicking around some new ideas.
