stitching business

So I just sewed a pair of doll legs on backwards for the third time. THIRD! So I’m taking a little computer break. How about some relaxing embroidery instead. The Bear & Bunny pattern is up now on the freebies page. And thanks for asking after the Tulip Fairy, she and her friends will be up in the shop later this week.

ok… 4th time’s a charm

  4. Oh my gosh… you know what my first thought was as soon as the picture started coming up? Those cookies look sooooooooo good. Can you guess where my brain is right now……? They really are very cute!

  5. So cute! Thanks for sharing your designs. I know how you feel about sewing things wrong time after time. How come we just can’t get it in our brain right the first time? haha. Good lucky on your dolly! 🙂

  6. Many thanks for the embroidery patterns!

  7. They are adorable, thank you for sharing the pattern. Thanks for sharing your foibles too. I get so frustrated sometimes as a beginning sewer, it’s comforting to know I’ll probably make the same mistakes on occasion years from now as well.

  8. Sorry, but I kind of had to smile at the “3 times wrong” thing… So you do that, too? Once, after picking up my seam ripper for the third time for the same. darn. seam, I was ready to sell my machine and never sew a thing again. You make me realize we all have days like that. Hope yours gets infinitely better!
Thanks for the free pattern, it’s appreciated so very much. Looking forward to the Flower Fairies.

  9. Only three times? It took me an hour and a half just to post on my blog today because i just couldn’t get my little dyslexic brain to figure out what i was doing wrong! Needless to say, i have the same troubles sewing too! 🙂

  16. Hi!
I check your blog everyday. It makes my day to see fun creations online; smily faces of dolls and cats… I checked a couple of times your dolls on your blog and they really make my day. Little things put a smile on my face. Continue the great work. You are very talented.
    All the best

  22. Thanks for the awesome patterns. I am looking forward to trying my hand at them…and then getting the tuplip fairy ones when they come out. On a freaky computery website note, is anyone else having problems opening the freebies page? It hangs up everytime trying to upload the donate button (according to the screen note). Just wondering.
