snaps

I wrote a post a few days ago about trying to reclaim my lost blogging mojo and of course, typepad ate it. I just didn’t have the heart to recreate it. There was something about taking more pictures in there. Here are some pics I took last week of my new button booty.

Love buttons and that red centered white flower one is cute! They look really cute up against all those polka dots ~ I think that has inspired some ideas. Thanks for sharing

I lost a long, just completed post on Typepad yesterday. Isn’t it a sickening feeling when you realize it’s gone?
Your photos are a worthy placeholder!

I just LOVE that red and white flower button – its to die for – has inspired me to travel to my favorite patchwork store today and get some more cuties for my stash. Thanks for your wonderful blog – such an inspiration all the time.

I’m a button nut. I love getting a new box and going through and admiring each one. My only problem is sewing them onto a project. I never want to part with my favorites.

maybe you need to go forth with that w.w greatest hits month you were joking about earlier this year. A stuffy snapshot timeline maybe? gotta get that mojo back girl, we need you out here.

I hear ya about the low blogging mojo — how do you get it back? I’m going to try reorganizing my studio and I’m working on a list of new projects and ideas. What else works? I really wish I could have made it out to Portland for Studio Craft. I think talking to other creative folks (the face to face version) would help too.

There’s something about a big, wonderful, mixed collection of buttons, isn’t there? My mom recently gave me the stash my grandma left behind and it just makes me smile to look at them. I painted a couple of old cupcake tins pink and keep mine stored in the little cups. I planned to sort them by color someday, when I actually got around to using them for projects, but they look so cheerful and bright all in a jumble, I don’t know if I’ll do that or not.
