That’s fabulous! A little bigger, and it’d make an interesting shawl, no less.
I absolutely love the way you use yellow in your stuff — I try, and the yellow doesn’t look as sunny as it does in your work, just YELLOW, like BRIGHT and DISTRACTINGLY VIVID. Seriously.

it looks wonderful. is it heavy? i remember ripping a whole lot of sheets up to make a braided rug and when that attempt went south started to knit a bathroom rug. i don’t know what ended up happening with it.
yours apron looks amazing and the colors are just right for spring.

I like the way the tied ends hang out. Now I know what to do with some cloth I don’t like and an empty tile floor – knitted rug, here I come.

Holy! I just had the biggest flash back. When I was about 10 years old and desperately wanted to be punk (it was the 80’s people) my Mum knitted me a rag top just like this (but blue). It was sleevless and had lots of loose ends sticking out. It was heavy, but I LOVED it! I felt waaay cool wearing it.
Great apron, thanks for the memory injection.

That’s fantastic! I just moved and it makes me wish I’d not given so much stuff away! I’m going to have to spend the rest of the day not torturing myself by remembering the fabrics that could have been so perfect..
