I swear. Only I can get hung up on a baby bootie for an entire week. Here are the finished baby presents. I started out trying to make beautiful booties like Catarina’s. After mucking up the 4th or 5th prototype I finally gave up and made felt shoes from a vintage pattern I had. They were fun to sew up but it’s taken me awhile to grow fond of the boxy shape. Very retro though. And huge! These better be big babies girls. The bonnets are from my angry chicken mailorder of course. So cute and easy to make. Ok, now that I’ve got this gift down all upcoming babies better be girls. Got that Rosa?!
unbelievably cute!
can I be a baby girl? I want a bonnet and booties and a doll!
Oh dear god those booties are adorable. As are the dolls and bonnets. What sweet, sweet gifts.
Oh Hillary! All so pretty & dainty and amazing! The booties, even though not your first pick, turned out lovely. Lucky babes!
ohmygoodness, these are amazingly sweet! lucky indeed.
LOVE the little booties! Can’t you just see fat little legs in those?
Hillary! It’s going to be hard to not use too many exclamation points here! Those are without a doubt the loveliest baby gifts I’ve ever seen, or could ever imagine. Lucky babies indeed! 🙂

Absolutely precious!!!! Lucky, lucky babies!
These are really lovely! The babies will look really cute in them = )
Maybe I’ll get pregnant again just because of those damn cute booties. I swear I might.
So incredibly perfect!!
I’m not one to use the word precious much but good lord those are absolutely the most perfectly precious baby gifts ever. They belong in a shadow box in the nursery. Wonderful!
They take my breath away. So, so beautiful. You’re an absolute colour genius.
Those are great. I’ve always wanted to make some mary jane style baby booties– like the ones in MS Baby a while back…
These gifts are wonderful…I love everything about them..
You are a sweet friend to make such lovely things.
These couldn’t be any cuter…absolutely precious!
Beautiful !I haven’t even got any babies but I’d buy a set:)
oh, i love these so. I make baby shoes too but these are extra special- so simple and sweet. The three pieces make such a beautiful set.
Wow, what an amazing job you did. I’m so inspired.
Such a goreous gift for these lucky babies, not so lucky if any of them are boys, but for the girls….. I would guess they will treasure them for a very long time.
So sweet, lucky babies (and their mamas who will be thrilled to receive those as gifts!) I’m hoping that by reading your blog some of your craftiness will rib off on me.
so cute!
Beautiful. I especially love the butterfly motifs on the booties.
just beautiful!
Whata beautiful gift to receive.
oh, I love the first set the best, mostly because that shade of green in the ribbon is one of my favorite colors. What lovely gifts!
Wow! those are the best baby present EVER.
A silly questions perhaps.. but how can I possibly get my hands on that bonnet pattern?
Oh I do love those booties! My baby girl had the biggest feet!!! Most of the dainty booties we got as presents never fitted. These would have 🙂
Beautiful baby gifts. the best gifts are those that are handmade with love 🙂 So glad I found your blog x
Catarina’s shoes are definitely cute (and modern!) but I actually like yours better. Ah, if only we could all have the pattern! I guess we unlucky ones will just have to try to design something similar, eh? : )
This reminded me of your characters:

Just perfect little baby gifts!
wow! What sweet gifts.
Oh those are wonderful. It makes me long for a baby girl….maybe one day! Wonderful work! 🙂
Those are so freaking adorable that they actually make me want to have a baby on the off chance someone would make me something so wonderful! Also, I firmly believe that the bonnet is on the verge of a huge comeback.

Lucky, lucky babes-to-be.
I wish I could go back 36yrs and git me a pair of those booties .. then skip the teen years and voila – bootie keepsakes hand-me-downs for my own babes 😉
Love your work 😉
Love everything. May I ask where you got the baby bonnet pattern from? I would like to make one for my granddaughter.
