Here’s another from my birthday stack of japanese craft books. This book like the clay dolls book is a bit of a departure from my normal japanese craft book picks. It’s all about paper projects. I’ve never really gotten into paper as a medium but it’s something I’d love to do in the future. So without further ado, allow me to introduce the lovely ISBN4-89444-471-2

and in case you’ve missed it, run over to craftypod and listen to the excellent interview with Maitreya on crafting japanese!

I am in love with all the beautiful japanese craft books you have in your collection. Would you mind making a suggestion about sources where I could find these sorts of books?

That is a gorgeous book! Paper has always been a draw for me, although I haven’t worked with it much.
Your eggs should be arriving today or tomorrow! 🙂

Those stylised flowers have given me a great quilting idea … wish I had a couple of books of this stuff (hint, hint) so I could keep the inspiration to hand. Thanks again for lighting my creative fire.
